Well, I didn’t get the beer shed that I was hoping for, but I did get a Mr. Beer kit that I’ve already put to use. I’ve been writing about beer for quite some time, I should at least try to make my own and see how it turns out. I mean, I’ve tried plenty of beer, making it should complete the cycle.

To mix it up a bit, I’m going to throw in a lighter beer to make us all wish it were 80 degrees and sunny outside. I found this at one of my usual spots and thought I would give it a try. Plus, I get tired of drinking dark beers in winter; you need to change it up after a while.

Over on Idea Offer, a request was put out for the best ideas for cocktails that have ice cream as an ingredient. And the winning idea came from Navakanth Kanapala for his Strawberry Margarita Fizz. Here it is as described by Navakanth:

Sugar for coating rims of glasses
1-1/2 cups softened strawberry ice cream
1/2 cup chopped strawberries, plus whole strawberries for garnish

Married to a Baltimore native but living in New England, the amount of Ravens games that we can watch are limited. So, when the Ravens had a Monday night game a few weeks ago, I decided to create a fun dinner to accompany the game.
