Bottle/Tap: Bottle
This is the second of three beers by Kona Brewing I happened to have picked up a few weeks ago. Since it was raining last week I thought: nothing says sunshine like Hawaii. Sure enough, I got plenty of sun from this bottle of joy.
Wailua is a limited release beer, and I have a feeling the release is over, which is a shame. I was drawn to it because it was from Hawaii and it is a wheat beer with passion fruit. I’ve tried blueberries, raspberries, apricots, watermelon, and pumpkin beers. Adding passion fruit to the list was as
