Well now that I know there was nothing wrong with the beer then my opinion might change a bit. I just thought it was a watered down beer, I had no idea that shandy was a style of beer. Thanks for clearing that up for me I do appreciate it. I don't pretend to know everything about beer and I don't mind if you let me know where I might have gone astray. Thanks.

Your taste buds must be off. Summer Shandy is a favorite among most people I know who have tried it.

Shadys are typically milder beers (some may say watered down) with a refreshing lemon or ginger flavor. They are intended to be drank in the summer time to quench ones thirst, without getting gut rot or loaded in the process.

If your palette is dead and you need bold beers all the time, then stay away. If you are able to pick out subtitle attributes in beers and want a light refreshing drink, then Summer Shandy is it.
