Long Trail Brewing, Imperial Porter

Sometimes reviewing beers is better done in a collaborative environment and for this week’s review I’ve asked a close friend, Travis, to weigh in on this porter.  Travis is a local expert on dark beers and, you’ll see, he has a thing for alliteration.  We each found a bottle of this Long Trail brew; gave it a whirl and shared our thoughts.  Below is a close transcript of our conversation.

Beer Review: Long Trail, Pollenator

A few weeks back I was in Vermont camping with friends, and we paid a visit to the Long Trail Brewery.  We had a good time with great food and some delicious beer.  One of those beers was the Pollenator, and I decided to grab a bottle to bring back home with me since it was such a rare release.
