Double Cross Vodka

by Michele on July 21st, 2011 | Liquor
With so many different vodkas on the market, how are you to know which is the one to choose?  It probably depends on what you're expecting in the vodka.  If you are seeking a vodka that is smooth and makes the perfect ingredient in an elegant cocktail, Double Cross is the right choice.

Launched in September 2008, this product is now available 38 states and Slovakia.  While Slovakia may seem to be unique for the one non-American location, it isn't.  Double Cross is produced at a family-run distillery in Slovakia under the direction of Dr. Jan Krak, a master distiller.

Shoot ‘Em Up and Slam ‘Em Down

by Jason Lightner on July 20th, 2011 | Liquor
You're at a bar with a bunch of friends, in celebration of something important when suddenly one of them suggests a round of shots. This is the moment people like you and I dread, as we can never seem to decide on the shot we're going to do. by Jason Lightner on March 2nd, 2011 | Liquor
Recently I had the opportunity to try a delicious vodka out of France. Esmé vodka is a smooth and delicate vodka that is easy on the palate and easy on the wallet. You see, every Saturday, my favorite liquor store does wine and liquor tastings and it just so happened I was there when they were sampling this wonder of a spirit.

I strode into the store with my wonderful girlfriend, in search of some delicious red wine. What we found, however, was much more intriguing than grapes. As you may know, I'm not one for sipping vodka.

The Snowflake

by MPK on December 17th, 2010 | Cocktails, Crafty Bartender
Hi, everyone. I hope you are enjoying the holiday season. It is my favorite time of year, however, I do wish there was a little white stuff to get us in the spirit. (And, of course, to help the water table for next year's spring crop.)

I thought  I would offer you a martini that will put you in the spirit of the winter, but offer the refreshing qualities of something you would enjoy in the summertime.  In addition to that, this one is a real eye catcher for those of you hosting parties.

This martini has a nice play of tropical
